Family owned and operated since 1967 when Angelo Ponte opened the eponymous Ponte’s as Tribeca’s first dining destination, this rustically elegant restaurant charms with its virtuoso approach to Italian cuisine and “olde New York” atmosphere. 

Four inviting rooms on two floors embrace diners in the engaging warmth of exposed brick walls, beamed ceilings and hand painted tiles.  Stunning Hudson River views, flaming wood burning oven at the entrance and glass fronted rotisserie in the dining room set a captivating stage for savoring Ponte’s glistening raw bar offerings, seductive pastas made daily on-site, classic Italian entrees such as osso buco and house specialties like the world famous “Angry Lobster, ” as well as succulent selections  from the rotisserie.   All complemented by an impressive wine list showcasing the best Italian and Californian producers.
